At Americana Motor Hotel, the Backyard never runs out of reasons to hang around the pool. Every other Saturday through August 29th, guests and locals alike roll out their mats for Poolside Yoga, a laid back morning stretch session with mountain air and heated pool views as the backdrop.
Come Sunday, the vibe shifts. Every other Sunday, DJ Sundays turns the Backyard into one of Flagstaff's favorite pool hangouts, with feel good beats from a live DJ, Far Out Food on hand, and plenty of mountain sunshine to soak up between dips.
August brings two of the summer's biggest gatherings. On August 15th, the Route 66 Car Club of Flagstaff rolls into town for the Mother Road Classic, and Americana serves as the official host hotel with a Friday night poolside party kicking things off before Saturday's car show takes over downtown. Expect classic cars, cold drinks, and the kind of Route 66 nostalgia this hotel was built for.
Then on August 30th, the Backyard gets a purpose beyond fun in the sun. The First Responders Spike for a Cause Pool Party brings volleyball, music, and good vibes together in support of The Shadows Foundation, honoring the first responders and families they serve.
